Paolo first started training Jiujitsu in 2012 at sixteen years old when his older brother Michael convinced him to try out the martial art. He quickly became fond of the highly competitive nature of the sport. In the years since, he has immersed himself in competition becoming one of the most successful competitors in the local Philippine BJJ scene, achieving significant success in local and international competitions at the highest levels. He is currently a brown belt.
